Tropical Traditions Raw Organic Honey is a soft solid, lightly colored, incredibly delicious honey. Oh, yeah. It's good.Instead of eating the entire jar by itself with a spoon (not that we were doing that) I decided I'd make a few dishes with my jar of Tropical Traditions Raw Organic Honey.
I made Bean & Burger Soup and Honey Ham. The Honey Ham was delicious, and easy-peasy to make. A 3 pound ham, cut into slices, a half a cup of Tropical Traditions Raw Organic Honey stirred into 4 cups hot water, poured over the ham slices & cooked at 350 for an hour & a half. Very sweet ham, and there was none left after dinner.
I usually use brown sugar in my Bean & Burger Soup, but decided to try the Tropical Traditions Raw Organic Honey this time. Even better than usual.
Recipe for Bean & Burger Soup
1 can pork & beans
1 can kidney beans
1 can black beans, drained & well rinsed
1 1/2 cooked ground burger
1/2 ketchup
1/2 cup Tropical Traditions Raw Organic Honey
1 medium onion, grated
enough water to thin to taste
Put all ingredients in a soup pan, heat & eat. This is really good served with a nice crusty bread.
Tropical Traditions Raw Organic Honey sells for $10.99 for a 17.6 oz jar, and it's worth every penny.
Of course I have a giveaway for you. The generous people at Tropical Traditions would like to offer one of my readers a chance to win the same honey I tried.

Wow, this looks like some amazing honey. What I like most is how much they care about the bees. Bees are extraordinary animals and are happy to give us their sweet nectar if we don't stress them and just let them take care of their business. I love that this honey is unfiltered and still contains some bits of pollen.
ladymerville@gmail.com
If I won this honey the possibilities are endless! But I think my favorite would be to just eat it with a spoon right out of the jar like ice cream...savoring every delicious bite :)

This kind of honey where it is almost a solid is the best kind. My grandparents had bees in central Kansas and the honey that was thick was always most sought after. I hope that this one is chosen for me!!
